Rob the Beertraveler ("Coz" to his friends) has many interests. Many, many interests. Maybe too many interests. He is always on a quest to learn new and exciting things. Recently he stumbled upon the movie business . Luckily he stumbled backed out... He actually got into it by accident. A friend of his asked him to be an extra in his first feature film entitled, “A New Wave” (starring Lacey Chabert, John Krasinski, William Sadler and Andrew Keegan). Being an amateur photographer he brought his camera to the set and was asked to help out with the still photography for the duration of the shoot. Since then, Rob has been involved with 3 independent feature films. He has helped produce Bikini Blood Bath (starring Debbie Rochon) and Bikini Blood Bath 2 (starring Debbie Rochon and Rachael Robbins). He also happens to play the killer chef, “Chef Death,” in both of these films. Often stating: “It was typecasting! They needed someone who looked mean and to chase around women in bikinis. Since I was already doing that in real life, it wasn’t much of a stretch.” He has also just finished help producing a film currently entitled “London Betty” (starring Daniel Von Bargen) where he is also an extra and did many of the special make-up effects. Rob was born and raised in Connecticut and went to Boston University to study computer engineering. Unfortunately he spent all his tuition on beer and had to return home. On the upside, his love of beer and brewing (he’s been a home brewer for over 15 years) has allowed him to travel to over 10 different countries researching and enjoying one of his great passions.
When Rob is not drinking beer, you can find him at the bookstore he owns in New Britain, CT. (OK, sometimes he drinks beer at the bookstore...) |
